The Ala Moana Center in Honolulu is the world’s largest open-air shopping center in the world. For those who shy-away from large shopping centers, don’t fear – Oahu has many other specialty shops and boutiques around the island. Waikiki has many famed retailers, while Windward Kailua has many cute shops with perfect souvenirs.
For boutiques galleries, nothing beats Lahaina in Maui. Along with multiple shops and restaurants, there are shopping centers such as The Outlets of Maui and the Old Lahaina Center.
Hawaii Island is known as the Big Island for a good reason. It’s larger than all of the other islands combined. From Kona to Hilo, and many locations along the coast in-between, there is plenty of shopping available.
Kauai is known locally as the “Garden Isle” for its lush forests and laid-back locals. Don’t let that fool you: shopping here is still a top-notch experience. Head to the Kukui Grove Center for department stores, local shops, and good food.
