Visit the most comprehensive, multi-disciplinary arts center in Hawai‘i: the MACC. The museum-quality Schaefer International Gallery displays visual art exhibitions that change six times a year. In addition to top-name musical, dance and theatrical entertainment from around the world, MACC offers Hawaiian cultural and educational programs to Maui’s
community and visitors. The Center also features a glass-covered dining area with built-in bars, catering prep kitchen and reception hall plus a mix of studio, classroom and meeting spaces.
From Elton John to Mikhail Baryshnikov and from Kathy Griffin to Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, this world-class facility is where popular and innovative performing artists can be enjoyed … connecting Maui’s community to the world. As an educational resource, MACC serves all ages from pre-school to adult, enhancing arts education in schools and professional development for teachers as well as introducing Native Hawaiian culture to visitors and residents alike. The gallery exhibition space showcases the work of visual artists from Hawai‘i, North America and beyond. For the community-at-large, the complex offers dance studio, meeting room and function spaces in addition to free outdoor festivals.
